About Melissa
Hey!!!
I’m a single mom, living in Michigan, doing my best to walk in love, purpose, and grace every day. In 2015, I retired at 35 due to a work injury that ended my 17-year career. What could have broken me instead became a blessing—giving me the chance to be fully present for my son and every stage of his life.
Now, I work in the front office at my son’s school and serve as a proud member of PPU, our parent organization. Being a part of the school community has opened new doors and helped me connect with other parents on a deeper level. We created Coffee and Conversation—a space for parents to come together, share honestly, and talk about life beyond just parenting. It’s about being heard, seen, and supported.
These days, I’m also learning how to be a better budgeter—navigating the ins and outs of single motherhood with intention and a desire to build something solid for my future and my son’s.
I’m passionate about sisterhood, mental wellness, creativity, and cultivating meaningful connections. Through the highs and lows, God’s grace, mercy, and provision have carried us through.
I believe everything starts with LOVE—Love for GOD, Love for Yourself, Love for Your Purpose, and Love for Your Journey.
